Cathedral Hull Boats with 5 degree Rise of Floor

Traditionally boats are constructed with a keel. Our traditional designed Cathedral Hull Boats are
available with a 5 Degree Rise of Floor, 10 Degree Rise of Floor and 15 Degree Rise of Floor V Bottom
Hulls. The choice of Hull form is dependant on the conditions and size of your boat.
Larger boats operating in rough open waters such as large dams are best designed with a 10 to 15
degree vee bottom hull form, giving good separation of flow either side of the keel. This leads to
increased rolling. Rolling can be dampened by increasing the width aft.
